If anything, I really love your Xenogears stories. I actually read one on Ao3 before I met you in this tumblr mess! I think "Asymptote" was the first Ramsus fic I've ever really liked, and the first straight Ramsus fic at that (I normally ship him with Sigurd). Also, I now use the term "asymptote" to describe the possession thing for both Ramsus and Miang so you've made a bit of fanon too :)

Honestly I hardcore ship Ramsus and Sigurd, too, but for some reason at the beginning of Asymptote I chose Dominia's route. I want to write more for Sig/Ram, at least draw out their previous relationship because I really love the ship a lot and there's no content for it and it hurts me. I'm having that dating sim trouble where I want everyone to love on Kahr at the same time, but I need to figure out how to tetris it into the plot without it seeming disingenuous.

OH I AGREE on the dating sim problem, I feel the same for Citan (and fuck it, I never thought I'd ship Ramsus/Fei but got bit by a plotbunny for them today, even though Citan/Fei is my OTP). Though it is a bit easier with him since Citan is the yaoi magnet of the game ROFL. (As much as I love shipping him with Yui, there's a pretty arguable route to him with almost any of the male cast LMAO - I usually end up writing him as Sigurd > Yui > Fei or Sigurd/Fei threesome)

Also, yeah. I feel bad for dragging one of the best villains in literature (Miang) with my sentimental hurt feelings I'm projecting onto Ramsus with this, but asymptosis is the constant state of Ramsus and Miang's relationship. It's also got its meanings tied to Kahr's inability to be what Krelian wanted him to be, and his state of not-being-the-Contact.

God, I hope I don't sound pretentious. I just love Ramsus and like to make everything about him/find interesting ways to describe who/what/when/how/why he is.
